Abigail (Abby) Vandenbrul

(she/her/Hers)

Abby is a first-year Stage Management student at Penn State and joined the #HereToo project in October 2020 as a stage manager. Abby became involved with stage management in tenth grade when she was the assistant stage manager for Damn Yankees. After that, Abby knew that she wanted to pursue stage management as a career. Abby co-founded the first March For Our Lives chapter in Delaware at her high school and she also worked as the outreach coordinator for the DE board for MFOL. Abby is excited to combine her passion for activism with her passion for stage management. 

 

Andrew Fei (费君鸿)

(He/Him/His)

Andrew is a senior international student from Shanghai, China, double major in Theatre Studies and Recreation, Park, and Tourism management, minor in Sports Studies. He has been a part of the #HereToo@PSU since Fall 2019 as a devisor, actor, interviewer, and intern. He is also the vice-president of Chinese Theater and Movie Society. He loves discovering new forms of theatre and the power of theatrical space. He is also a goalkeeper, fencer, tennis player, and skier. He believes in the power of dream.

David Reingold

(he/him/his)

David is a third year BFA Lighting Design major and has been a part of the #HereToo project since the fall of 2019. David loves the collaborative nature of devised work, and he has thoroughly enjoyed learning from the other artists on this project, as well as the many activists he’s had the pleasure of speaking with. David believes in the power of saying “yes,” and in the magic which happens when a group of smart, inspired people come together and decide to create something. Elena Sgouros

(she/her/hers)

Elena Sgouros is a third year B.A. Theatre Studies major at Penn State University and has been part of the project since 2019. She has participated as a deviser and performer along with  managing positions on The #Heretoo Project. Over the past summer, she was one of the creators of the #Heretoo podcast featuring youth activists around the country. As an assistant director, publicity manager, and dramaturge, further credits include Spamalot#HereToo @Penn State She Kills Monsters, Violet, and Polaroid Stories.

Frederick (Freddie) Miller

(he/him/his)

Freddie Miller is an emerging dramaturg and playwright, currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Comparative Literature at Penn State University. An advocate for theatre education, Freddie has worked extensively with theaters in his hometown to provide theatrical opportunities for children, launching Keystone Youth Theatrics – Online, a free virtual summer program for middle and high school aged children, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At Penn State, Freddie’s dramaturgical work has informed productions of Angels in America, A Little Night Music, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Caroline, or Change. As a playwright, his work has included Outcasts (New York City), Weekend Visit (Penn State University), and Stage Moms. DG student associate member. www.freddie-miller.com

Helen Zheng (郑雅匀)

(She/her/hers)

Helen is an international student from China and a senior studying finance and theatre studies at The Pennsylvania State University. She has been a part of the #HereToo Project since January 2019 and has been a devisor, actor, interviewer, transcriber, and intern for the team. She also serves as the President of the Chinese Theatre and Movie Society while actively performing with the club. Helen is looking forward to see how #HereToo develop and grow during this unusual time and what everyone brings to the team.

Jaydin Hill

(He/him/his)

Jaydin is a senior at Penn State graduating this May. He is one of the newer interns at #HereToo and is excited to be working on the project. He is a neuroscience major and currently pursuing a minor degree in theatre arts. He will mostly be working as an interviewer, editor, and transcriber for the #HereToo podcast. He writes and shoots short films in his free time and also runs a personal podcast on the side with his friend Alex Pettit called "Real Talk with the Homies", which explores life issues and current events relevent to college aged students. .Jaydin greatly appreciates how everyone in the theatre department at Penn State has encouraged him to follow his creative dreams.

 

Mary Rosalind Valentine

(she/her/hers)

Mary is a sophomore Theatre Studies major and has been a part of the #HereToo project since Fall 2019. She has served as co-dramaturg on She Kills Monsters and Spamalot at Penn State. Mary Rose was also an intern over the summer with the American Shakespeare Center, where she was on staff at the digital #SHXCamp. Hopefully, she will be able to return to dramaturgy at Penn State when we can all safely study together in-person.  Mary Rose is very excited to be part of #HereToo so she can lift up voices that are so important to current events, and would like to remind everyone to register to vote.

Serena Davanzo 

(She/her/hers)

Serena is a junior at Penn State graduating in December 2022. She is excited to be a new intern to the #HereToo project. She is a Theatre Studies student with a concurrent major in Broadcast Journalism. She will be the podcast editing intern for the project! She is a member of the Blue Band Silks and does many student film acting opportunities. She is grateful to those who have helped and in courage’s her with all that she has accomplished in her creative journey.
